What is the area around your townhome like? Disney does an excellent job maintaining the areas that surround the park. You will find the sidewalks and streets are well-lit, safe, and well-kept. The condo complex itself has it's own security patrol, is well-lit, and gives off a tropical feel with it's outdoor courtyards and exotic plantings along the pathways.
If the townhouse sleeps 9, then why are we charged for persons above #6, especially if some of them are young children? First, there is a level of wear & tear on the condo when larger groups of 7+ stay vs. smaller groups of 4-6 (especially if some of them are small children). Larger groups use every room, every bed, cook more in the kitchen, use the bathrooms more often, more electricity, etc. If more than 6 people stay, it's likely there are 2 families or extended family. So the nightly rate is an absolute steal when compared to getting two comparable hotel rooms. Also, it is industry standard to charge for additional guests. This is true of vacational rentals as well as hotels around the world. In addition, our cleaning service has to work harder to change 8 beds, clean 3 bathrooms that were used by 7+ people, and sanitize every area of the condo back to sparkling clean. We often apply the extra funds toward our cleaning service. Plus, we do frequently have parties of 4 stay with us. If we set the rates to always accommodate 2 families, we would lose many of our smaller groups, all of whom are valued customers. Lastly, we do our very best to have NO HIDDEN FEES. All of our pricing is listed very clearly on our website in plain wording and it is your choice to book with us or not. But we hope you do! :)
